Abstract:
Experimental research on mechanical property of concrete-filled rectangular steel tube eccentric column with unequal end bending moment is carried out through change of some parameters, such as end bending moment ratio and load eccentricity, etc. Based on the research results, finite element simulative calculation is made for the whole force bearing process. It is found that the final failure type is curved end due to small slender proportion of component; rigidity and limit load reduce and ductility increases while load eccentricity of component increases; the result of finite element calculation is compliant with the test result.
