Abstract:
The world is undergoing a massive urbanization, mainly in developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region. The rapid urbanization has brought about serious environmental problems. Through the analysis of the Asia-Pacific region city traffic and public space indexes, slum improvement plan, the development of renewable energy, city coherence and diversity of the city, and the overall strategy of city development and comprehensive method, it puts forward how to face the environmental problems caused by rapid urbanization in the Asia-Pacific region, and analyzes the special situation faced by China and responsibilities China should take.
