Abstract:
In wide-span spatial steel structure project, multilayer and multidirectional obliquely-braced round tube column is one of the processing and fabrication difficulties due to its complex types, high dimensional precision and strict welding requirement, etc. This paper introduced the fabrication of a multilayer and multidirectional obliquely-braced complex round tube column in a large gymnasium project, analyzed the key points, difficulties and operability of the brace fabrication and compared a series of construction processes for assembly sequence and welding groove form. An assembly method for spare parts was formed, providing references for processing and fabrication of similar structural node.
