Abstract:
Nonlinear finite element numerical simulation analysis is a reasonable supplement and effective support to experiment. In this paper, based on the finite element software MSC.MARC, the parameters of the finished experiment are chosen to establish the finite element model of the special-shaped column frame joints. And numerical simulation analysis under horizontal low cyclic loading was carried out. The accuracy of the model was verified by experimental results. Then, the numerical results of changing the single parameter such as axial compression ratio, reinforcement ration, and material properties were obtained to show the influence evolution on the stress state of the proposed beam-column joints.
