Abstract:
A super-high building in Tianjin Binhai New Area is adjacent to the Haihe River, whose groundwater level is high and water quantity is large. Local maximum excavation depth of the foundation pit even reaches 31.9m. Various measures, such as dewatering in different phases and layers, three-level deposition, innovative well flushing and water level and water quality monitoring, etc., were adopted during construction to successfully solve the difficulties in dewatering construction of super-deep foundation pit.
