Abstract:
The attached building of the Duty Command Center of Yunnan Division of Public Security Border Defense is a 9-storey single-span frame structure with 8-magnitude earthquake intensity resistance and friction energy consumption support and shock absorption technique was adopted. This paper introduced the process of energy dissipation support arrangement and energy dissipater installation. After comparison with frame-shear wall structure, energy dissipation support structure has better aseismic performance and low construction cost.
