Abstract:
The steam engine room of a power plant adopts steel grid structure. Traveling crane is installed and put into service immediately after installation of the first span of the grid structure and then assembly platform is erected. High–altitude sliding method is replaced by high–altitude assembly method to install other parts of the grid. Important acceptance requiring long period is managed in different phases. Construction quality of the steel grid structure is inspected by several parties in different phases and these inspection results are analyzed to show the actual construction quality of the grid structure.
