Abstract:
It used the Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations and the RNG k-ε turbulence model to run the simulation in typical office building with stratum ventilation to predict three-dimensional pollutant CO2 concentration distribution in different inlets and outlets. The results were used to study the IAQ and CRE in the office. The result shows that, it can provide the breathing zone better IAQ and CRE when the inlet is set at the position Δh=20cm. In addition, with the stratum ventilation, upper air return method is better than the lower air return in the breathing zone. Compared with same side air return, opposite side return has a higher contaminant removal efficiency.
