Abstract:
In this article, a series of design, research and analysis (i.e. 3D visible modeling, establishment of modeling standard, research of modeling method of surface house panel and steel structure, optimization of pipe interference, automatic statistics of material, construction progress emulation and planar drawing of pipes) using BIM softwares among which Revit is taken as principal of the second stage of a certain airport terminal area project are introduced regarding to specialties of the project, such as its vast scale, extreme complexity of architectural structure and electromechanical system, numerous participants, dispersiveness of engineering data, difficulties in information interaction and coordination. BIM technology is applied in the construction stage of the project resulting in the reduction of construction period and engineering cost, improvement of efficiency, realization of informatization management and then substantial economic benefit.
