Abstract:
:In order to optimize concrete mix proportion and raw materials for bored pile concretes under saline soil environment which suffer from strong sulfate attack and serious chloride corrosion, the durability of four concretes, i.e. ordinary bored pile concrete (BPC), concrete made with sulfate resistance Portland cement and high volume mineral admixture (SRM), high performance concrete (HPC) made with ordinary Portland cement and high volume mineral admixture, and concrete which combined HPC and sulfate corrosion resistance admixture (HPCA) , were investigated. The results show that BPC has high sulfate corrosion resistance and low chloride resisting property which fails to satisfy durability requirement. SRM has high sulfate corrosion resistance and its chloride resisting property reluctantly meet critical requirement of durability design. HPC has high sulfate corrosion resistance and high chloride resisting property at the same time. With using sulfate corrosion resistance admixture, HPCA has lower durability than HPC to some extent. HPC, which has high durability and low cost, is optimized for bored pile under saline soil condition.
