Abstract:
Buton rock asphalt (BRA) has high softening point, favorable high-temperature stability, strong water damage resistance, good compatibility with base asphalt and favorable stability without isolation. It is applicable to heavy load and slow traffic conditions, as well as high-temperature and rainy regions. In recent years, BRA had witnessed successful application in treatment of road surface damage. Based on a practical engineering case, this paper designed different mixing proportions of BRA on different layers of road to verify the service performance of BRA, and summarized the construction process and key control points of BRA road surface.
