Abstract:
A strengthening and rebuilding project involves strengthening design of super-large wide-span frame beam. After comparison among different schemes, it was determined to adopt the compound strengthening method of profile steel strengthening method plus external prestressing strengthening method, to give full play to and favorably exert the advantages of both methods. Technical problems in strengthening of super-large wide-span frame beam under limited space were successfully solved, providing references for similar projects.
