Abstract:
Performance-based seismic design is a hot research topic in the field of seismic design of structures. Nonlinear elasto-plastic analysis is one of the widely used methods to estimate the anti-seismic performance of structures. In this paper, the anti-seismic performance of a road top head structure was evaluated by making use of the pushover method. The earthquake responses and weak positions of the structure were obtained. The results show that the dynamic performance of the structure meets the requirements specified by the codes.
