Abstract:
The influence of low volume high performance mineral admixtures on the properties of cementitious composite was systematically investigated, including the concrete workability, compressive strength, cementitious composite hydration degree and microstructure of hydration products. The results showed that high performance mineral admixtures had no significant effect on the concrete workability, enhanced the compressive strength and sharply decreased the concrete electric flux. The hydration activity of high performance mineral admixtures was higher than fly ash or ground blast furnace slag. The pore structure of harden cement pastes was refined by adding performance mineral admixtures, which improved the compactness of hydration products.
