Abstract:
Saturated-unsaturated seepage is one of the most common problem in the geotechnical engineering. The researchers both in home and abroad have done numerous numerical analysis on this problem. The numerical analysis of seepage in saturated-unsaturated soils was summarized, the research status was presented and discussed in the following aspects: the seepage analysis models and methods, the permeability characteristics of unsaturated soil, the initial condition and the rainfall infiltration boundary condition of the unsaturated soil. It also discussed the problems of the numerical analysis methods. It was suggested that more attention should be paid to the impact of the air phase under the condition of the single-phase seepage was generally considered in saturated-unsaturated soils; more attention should be paid to the determination of the permeability characteristics of unsaturated soil, to the research of the reasonable value of the parameters in the numerical fitting and to the experimental measurement of the permeability characteristics; in order to improve the accuracy of numerical analysis of seepage in saturated- unsaturated soils,more attention should be paid to the determination of the accurate initial pore pressure and to propose the reasonable boundary condition.
