Abstract:
In the rebuilding project of a 5-floor cast-in-place reinforced concrete office building of frame structure, its columns would be removed and its two spans would be reduced to one span. Based on mechanical analysis, beam supporting and column removing scheme was designed through mechanical analysis, foundation strengthening, reasonable arrangement of supporting system and in-situ fabrication of supporting frame. Field test showed that the beam supporting and column removing construction results satisfied the theoretical verification requirements.
