Abstract:
The purpose of schedule management is to control and save time, but traditional schedules have various disadvantages, such as passive implementation, having no prevention measure, low efficiency, abstract method and tools, insufficient information expression and having no dynamic expression, etc. BIM technique could provide overall and accurate data support for engineering construction, establish three-dimensional model, forecast error, omission, conflict and defect, and realize intermediate control. In Nanjing Youth Olympic Stadium project, frame system of BIM-based schedule management was established. BIM-based construction organization and schedule arrangement were proposed to solve the difficulties in construction, reduce reworking and save construction cost.
