Abstract:
The project is a frame-tube structure building located in the World Expo plot in Pudong New District of Shanghai and was consisted of 275?m ground structure and 18?m deep foundation. The project site belongs to soft ground region which has low bearing capacity, but the super-high building may general big vertical load. Based on estimation design, bored filling pile with 850?mm of diameter and 56.6?m of effective pile length was selected for mortar quantity calculation, soil stratum analysis and bearing capacity estimation. Trial pile construction and dead load test were carried out. It was concluded that the post grouting bored filling pile foundation bearing capacity estimation method could provide the estimated bearing capacity of single trial pile, which could be deducted to select appropriate pile reinforcement steel to satisfy the pile body bearing capacity.
