Abstract:
It is difficult to anchor the steel bonding or fiber bonding materials in negative moment at ends of concrete frame beam. There are some shortcomings in the constructional drawing specified in GB 50367—2013 Code for Design of Strengthening Concrete Structure, such as ambiguous load bearing, complex structure and difficult implementation. After necessary scheme amendment of existing problems in the Code, horizontal pin or tendon was embedded at column root and angle steel was used for transition. This method has high efficiency in engineering practices.
