Abstract:
Taken plain soil and rice straw in Chongqing area as raw materials, raw soil test pieces of different combination were prepared by adding different amount of straw. Then, uniaxial compression experiments were conducted, and strength and deformation tests were conducted on the modified raw soil. It is found that by adding an appropriate amount of straw stalk, compressive strength and ductility can be improved. According to the data comparative analysis, the paper puts forward that the best proportion range of adding straw stalk is from 0.25%~0.5%.
