Abstract:
For the time being, many civil buildings in earthquake area are masonry structure, which materials are fragile and whose integral stability, tensile and shearing strength, ductility and earthquake resistance are poor. This paper analyzed the main earthquake damages and proposed relevant improvement measures according to seismic specification, to improve the seismic performance of multilayer buildings of masonry structure.
