Abstract:
The main body of a concrete frame structure is 14 m high and 77.5 m long. It adopted independent foundation design and transversely crosses two spans and longitudinally ten spans. Software was used to establish structure strengthening model and to analyze the elasticity and elastoplasticity of the original structure, steel support strengthening structure and rocking wall strengthening structure. It was found that both steel support and rocking wall could improve the aseismic bearing capacity of structure. Steel support might form floor yield failure mechanism, so rocking wall has better strengthening effect than steel support.
