Abstract:
A new method of leveling with hanging level rod is presented in this paper based on the deficiency of traditional spirit leveling in subsidence monitoring. First, the principle of hanging level rod observation is introduced, next, points for attention are summarized. Finally, the feasibility of the new method is verified by experiments and construction projects in practice. The results demonstrate that the precision and work efficiency can be improved with the new method, which makes the monitoring marks more easily protected, and the continuity of monitoring data is well maintained.
