Abstract:
To meet the needs of strengthening rehabilitation of existing practical project, engineering beams were strengthened by CFRP and increasing section, and field loading test for strengthened beams were conducted. The strain of CFRP and steel bar, beams’ deflection and crack were comparatively analyzed to evaluate its reinforcement effect. Based on the experiment,a design method that based on deflection control approach was proposed to strengthen the moment capacity of bending section.
