Abstract:
In order to study the influence of different size of excavation of tunnel excavation deformation and stability, using numerical simulation software MIDAS, setting three excavation size, simulating the deformation and stability of surrounding rock excavation under different size chamber by numerical simulation software. The results show that with the increase of the length of the step, the settlement becomes larger. The proper shortening of the step length is beneficial to reduce the settlement; the different step length has more influence on the settlement of the tunnel at the later stage. In front of the tunnel face is to control the settlement of soil reinforcement for good measure.
