Abstract:
In combination with the pilot project, experimental work using ultrasonic pulse testing and radar scanning has been performed to inspect concrete defects non-destructively. It was proved that radar scanning was effective and ultrasonic pulse testing had its limitation. Based on the experimental results, a non-destructive testing method and technique using radar scanning for concrete defects inspection in polystyrene form walls is presented. It provides a feasible method for quality control and inspection to the polystyrene form concrete structure system.
