Abstract:
Combing with the shallow subsurface-excavated construction scheme of a highway tunnel, in this paper, numerical calculation is performed for construction process of existing highway above the shallow tunnel with large cross-section in soft soil area, and the surrounding rock and stress state is analyzed to evaluate the safety and reality of the construction scheme. The calculation result indicates that the two-side wall pilot construction method has a good effect in controlling the surrounding rock deformation, however, large axial force and bending moment are generated in arch spring and corner when removing the temporary support. Therefore, monitoring and measurement should be strengthened and necessary reinforcement measures should be taken.
