Abstract:
Based on the rheological properties of concrete, the influence of silica fume content from 0 to 15% on rheological properties of high-strength concrete is studied based on Bingham fluid model. In this paper, the new concrete with water-cement ratio of 0.27 was used as the research object. The yield stress, plastic viscosity and stratification of fresh concrete were tested by experiments. The results show that the plastic viscosity of fresh concrete decreases with the increase of silica fume content, and the yield stress tends to increase when the water/cement ratio is 0.27. When the silica fume content is more than 10% degree to reach 0.542, concrete stratification phenomenon.
