Abstract:
The steel structure was difficult to match with conventional external thermal insulation system because of the problems with anticorrosion, fire-protection and the large temperature distortion. The authors analyzed the system of strengthened vertical silk rock wool board bonded by adhesive polystyrene granule, and found its advantages in anti-distortion and anti-wind, and anchorages were cancelled in this system. This system was safe for steel structure, and it solved the problems on external thermal insulation system
