Abstract:
Considering the weak seismic isolation of historical relics themselves, improving the seismic resistance of historical relics is significant for historical relic protection. This paper analyzed and compared different historical relic protection methods and their seismic performance. Test model was established according to the characteristics of existing historical relics collected in museums and simple harmonic motion test was carried out. The test results showed that seismic isolation technique could effective protect historical relics from damage in earthquake.
