Abstract:
The viscous damping wall is a new type of shock absorber. A viscous damping wall structure is set up for a new kindergarten. The finite element analysis model is established by using SAP2000. Elasto-plastic time history analysis is conducted under frequent and rare earthquakes. Layer shear angle, layer acceleration and layer displacement angle under rare earthquakes and layer shear-layer displacement curves. It is proved that viscous damping wall can effectively reduce the structural response and protect the main body. The hysteretic behavior of viscous damping wall is discussed, which shows that the damping wall can exert better damping performance under different
intensities.
