Abstract:
When the twin towers of Kunming Wanda Plaza were under construction at a height of 180m the earthquake coming. In the earthquake, the top structure and construction elevator have been shaking. Based on the twin tower of Wanda Plaza in Kunming, the seismic response of the attached wall frame under the earthquake action is analyzed by the software of finite element analysis. It is in the most unfavorable condition when the hanging cage is loaded in the middle. However, under the influence of frequent earthquake and design earthquake, the attached wall frame still works normally. In the rare occurrence earthquake, the bottom part of the wall attaching frame was damaged.
