Abstract:
This paper carried out gel time test, water separation rate test, fluidity and grout strength test to study the performance of ordinary cement and super-fine cement which could be used as double mortar grouting material. The test results showed that super-fine cement mortar has longer gel time, better reliability and fluidity, and high grout compressive strength then ordinary cement mortar, so super-fine cement is more suitable for water-stop reinforcement of soil stratum. It was also found that although the density of sodium silicate is higher than 40 °Bé, the double mortar doesn’t see obvious performance improvement.
