Abstract:
The newly built two subsurface excavated rainwater storage tanks in Beijing Majiapu pumping station has many vertical shafts and large dimensions and are adjacent to the overpass, facing high environmental risk. Composite anchor pile isolation measure was adopted during construction, to reduce the influence on existing buildings and structures. Column strengthening measure was adopted for existing underground passage and shaft wall upside-down hanging method was adopted for construction of shaft, to solve the technical difficulties in construction of subsurface excavated rainwater storage tank in the concave-down overpass area.
