Abstract:
Based on DeST converse modeling and with consideration of considering the life cycle cost of external thermal insulation system, the energy consumption of six thermal insulation systems of different thicknesses were simulated in severe cold area of North China and economic thickness optimization model for thermal insulation wall was developed through P1–P2 economic model. It was found that the thermal insulation effect decreased from PUR to XPS, rock wool, EPS, foamed concrete and thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar with the same thickness of thermal insulation material. Rock wool was recommended to be used as external thermal insulation material, because it has better economic advantages than other materials.
