Abstract:
The reconstruction and reinforcement engineering of JiBei power dispatching communication center,exteriorfacade of building decoration had been finished. Peripheral frame is unable to take measures for reinforcing it. A conventional reinforcement measure is difficult to carry out. Through comparing multi scheme, we finally determined reinforcementscheme. According to the layout of the building wall, viscous fluid damping wall (VFW) is embedded in theoriginal frame. The VFW provides a larger damping ratio, and structurecan consume more seismic energy. On account ofusing the VFW, thecolumn satisfies the aseismic requirements without reinforcing. By structure responsespectrum andelastic-plastictime-history analysis, the layout scheme and performance parameter of VFW are determined. Substructure with VFW has been unyielding analyzedon large earthquake. Results show thatthe seismic capacity of the structure is greatly improved after reinforcement.
