Abstract:
In order to define the influence of manufactured sand on mortar and concrete, this paper studies the influence of the lower limit, the median, upper limit of part, and different content of 1.18 mm particles manufactured sand on workability and strength of mortar and concrete. The results show that the liquidity and strength of mortar increase with the manufactured sand of part, coarsening. For the C30 concrete, the sand which is near the upper limit can make up for a lack of slurry and make concrete have better workability. For the C50 concrete, the sand which is between the median and lower limit can improve workability and strength of concrete.
